Beijing Olympics 2008: The first Gold Medal for India!
Abhinav Bindra won the gold medal in men’s 10 metre air rifle event of the shooting competition at Beijing Olympics on Monday morning.Bindra shot a total score of 700.5.
The medal is India’s first individual gold, and the first since 1980 for hockey.
